Holiday Activities and Food Easter Programme
We are pleased to share details of the local authority’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme for Easter, which provides free holiday club places for children and young people aged 4-16 who are receiving benefit-related free school meals.
How Parents can Access their HAF Voucher:
Step 1- Look out for your voucher: Eligible families of children recorded as receiving benefit-related free school meals will have received their HAF Voucher via email from the 6th March. This will be from hello@holidayactivities.com
Step 2 – Find a holiday club: The voucher will include a link to the HAF page where you can explore your local providers and the activities on offer.
Step 3 – Secure your place: You should contact your chosen HAF provider directly to book a place and provide the unique 16- digit voucher code.
Spaces are limited, so you should book as soon as possible.
Remember: Each eligible child can access up to four full funded sessions over Easter.
The voucher is valid for this holiday period only and cannot be used for future HAF sessions.
What should a parent do if they have not received their voucher
Active Together is looking to support young people from Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland, in the greatest financial need, to access physical activity and sport. The Young People Physical Activity & Sport Hardship Fund is aimed at helping young people overcome financial constraints affecting their continued involvement in physical activity and sport as a participant, official, coach, volunteer or talented sportsperson.
There will be two windows to apply for funding:
Round 1: Deadline - Sunday 6th October 2024 (applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of October). If you submit your application after the first round closes on 6th October, it will automatically be assessed as part of the March Panel meeting.
Round 2: Deadline - Sunday 2nd March 2025 (applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of March)

We’re excited to be a part of the 15th celebration of @Sustrans #BigWalkAndWheel. In partnership with @SchwalbeUK it's the UK's largest inter-school walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling challenge. It aims to inspire hundreds of thousands of pupils to get active on the school run.
We are delighted to announce we remain a 'Good' school, following our recent Ofsted inspection. Thank you to all staff, governors, parents/carers and of course our children, for all their hard work. Well done everybody; we are very proud of you.
The full inspection outcome report can be found here.
