Lunch Menus and FSM Information

We are a NO NUT school.

Please do not send your child into school with nuts of any kind. This includes sandwich spreads such as Nutella.

Free School Meals

From the start of the 2026-2027 academic year, the government is expanding the FSM eligibility to all children from households in receipt of Universal Credit regardless of household earnings.

Free School Meals will be available to pupils in receipt of, or whose parents are in receipt of, one or more of the following benefits:

Universal Credit
support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

A pupil is only eligible to receive a free school meal where both:

a claim for this support has been made
their eligibility has been verified by the local authority

Households may also be entitled to a free school meal if they:

are in receipt of income-related Employment and Support Allowance
receive the ‘guarantee’ element of Pension Credit
meet criteria set out in separate guidance for families with no recourse to public funds

From 1^st June 2026, the local authority will be accepting applications from parents who now meet this new criteria. Please apply online via https://leicestershire.cloud.servelec-synergy.com/Synergy/ using your Leicestershire County Council Parent Portal log in details, or ring 0116 3055417.

Households in receipt of Universal Credit with annual household earnings of £7,400 or less, will also be eligible for Pupil Premium. If households fall into this Targeted FSM category, school can help with items such as school uniform, trips etc. Please contact the school bursar for more information.

The local authority will undertake annual eligibility checks for those in receipt of FSM, and contact families/schools of any changes.

Please book your child's meal online, via the Weduc. You must do this before the day of the meal and preferably a week in advance.
