Uniform Information

Thorpe Acre Junior School uniform

We are very proud of our children and they look extremely smart in their school uniform.

Our school uniform comprises of a blazer and tie, together with a (optional) jumper/cardigan, white collared shirt, grey skirt or trousers and black, sensible shoes.

P.E. kits comprise of plimsolls, black shorts and a T-shirt in the colour of your child's allocated House.

Items containing the school logo can be purchased from our uniform supplier Rosebuddies, who are located on Loughborough Market on a Thursday and Saturday; their order form is below.  Other items can be purchased from places such as your local supermarket.

**UPDATE FROM ROSEBUDDIES, JUNE 2020**

Dear Parents

We will be returning to Loughborough Market from Saturday 6th June, from 7am-3pm.  Due to the current climate, our stall will temporarily be smaller but in our usual spot outside Caffè Nero.  Our Thursday opening hours will be 7am-3pm outside Boots.  Please come down and try on.  We have plenty of sizes available.  We cannot stress the importance of ordering early.  The products from our manufacturers are already taking four weeks.  This is BEFORE logo embroidery and any order backlog.  Our date to guarantee for school is usually the end of July however, due to the outbreak, it is now the 16th July.  Please do not leave it too late.  We don’t want to disappoint anybody.

Thank you

Hannah

School Uniform Exchange

Councillor Kat Goddard, who helps families in the Loughborough Ashby Ward, would like to let our families know about a School Uniform Exchange scheme they have recently set up.

They will be running it as much as they can online, and asking parents to deliver donations to The Hut each Friday from the 17th June 2020, then asking parents to fill in an online form (https://forms.gle/54zWjoSMn6j3QbTD7) or a paper form (see below) that can be dropped off at The Hut.  They have a group of volunteers that will go through the forms and deliver cleaned uniforms to those who have requested (as far as they can).

They have set up a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/877340792780719/ ) which will be used to advertise and answer questions about the scheme.

IMPORTANT 14/07/20 - Please read our letters on reopening in the Autumn Term, which can be found under 'Letters Home' and also 'News and Events/Coronavirus Updates'. Have a good summer holiday. Stay safe.
