October Half Term

Have a relaxing half term! Make sure you do a bit of work, just to make sure your brains keep working. I am so so so proud of you all for how you have settled back into the new way of doing things. See you on Monday 26th October smiley

Aaannndddd Happy Birthday Mia for Friday 23rd October!!!laugh

Everyday, make sure that you read your school reading, either your fiction or non-fiction, book for at least 15 minutes, and get a parent to sign that you have read with them. Or, if you have read on your own, then neatly sign your reading record yourself. Whilst reading it, think about how the characters are behaving and why. I would love to see everyone getting 100% on their reading quizzes. You will have to do your Star Reader test when we get back, so I would love to see you all improving your scores smiley

Go onto this website to read all about the Berlin Wall. Write down five fascinating facts that you find out.

Have a go at this times table challenge. Do it as a big block, or as separated rows. It'll be good practice for the first week back :)

Please contact the school office should you require a place for your child at Thorpe Acre Juniors. If you would like to purchase a book for school from our Wish List, please visit
